A Few Good Men.

These are a few gentlemen in the public eye that can dress, in my opinion. Hopefully we can all take something away from their style and make it our own. You don't want to look like every other guy out there. Trends are ok, just don't look trendy head to toe. Mix it up. Simplicity is always good. When in doubt, buy something classic that will stand the test of time.

The Motorcycle Jacket, by A. Munro.

Yes kiddies, it is time for another instalment of "DO's for boys." The day's topic of discussion: the motorcycle jacket.

The epitome of cool and sexy since mens' idea of flirting involved dragging the object of their affection by her luscious locks to the nearest cave, leather has continued to be a wardrobe staple of any man who considers clothing as something more than a necessary evil. And yes, leather has had its share of abuse and gross misjudgement throughout history (see MC Hammer). But when one considers a simple black leather motorcycle jacket on a boy who wears it with confidence it becomes PAINFULLY clear why James and Marlon and Brad and Johnny make girls hyperventilate... The jacket is universally sexy not only because the connotation of a man wearing animal skins resonates so deeply with our primal instincts. It is also the unequivocal sign for an impossibly cool, and more importantly BAD, boy. And yes, once again, we do all want a bad boy (the ones that say otherwise are lying).

Mind you, when planning on this addition to your collection be aware that the key is to exist without trying. That is to say, the jacket should be well tailored, black, and tres simple. Bonus points for signs of wear.

And if you happen to actually know how to ride a motorcycle...or... God help us, own one, you may find a lovely admirer purring next to you while wearing said leather jacket...and nothing else.

Yeah, the guy is kind of an asshole, but I really dig this video and don't mind the song. I'll always try to stay objective when it comes to art, and this is very artistic and refreshing. Most of the shit coming out these days is over-produced gloss, this is why I think this is worth a watch.
