Worker.

I've had this idea for a while, representing a worker, the american male, rugged and tough... I can pretend, right? Pitched this to David Newkirk, so we got together one sunday (a couple of months ago) and shot for about an hour. David wasn't feeling it. I can always tell when he's into something, and when he isn't. Oh well, sometimes it's a slam dunk, and others it's a layup. This was a layup, but there were a few decent shots, at least in my opinion.

That's pretty hot, but you're not dirty enough. You need to get a little grit on you to make this shoot work ;0)

Actually, i agree completely! I had charcoal in my car, but never used it.

Agree - dirty is better. David wasn't feeling it, eh? Wow. Remind me never to shoot with him. If this doesn't do it for him I'm positive that I would bore him to death.

Ha ha ha! No Anonymous, NO! David is the best photographer i've ever worked with. It's not him, it's me :)
